The Sashiko Double Gauze is made from 2 layers of lightweight gauze woven that are bound together with vertical running “sashiko” stitches. This fabric was produced using dobby looms which are capable lifting a selection of vertical running warp yarns as the weft passes through to create woven patterns directly into the fabric.The Kimono Shirt is a shirt cut in the fashion of the Japanese Noragi: open-front, straight silhouette, front-tie closure. The Noragi were symbols of poverty in Japan. Farmers would wear and repair them to last decades. They have become symbols of Japan’s horticultural past striking a deep contrast with Japan’s present: a world leader in technology.

Our returns guarantee entitles you to return the product for any reason within 14 days of having received it. You have the right to open the package and check the contents but the product must be return unused. All original packaging, price labels etc shall be returned with the product without having been tampered with.
